New Alberta Environmental Farm Plan Website Goes Live
Posted May 22, 2014 by LSC
The Alberta Environmental Farm Plan’s (EFP) new website is now live and mobile friendly.
“The website features farmer stories, articles, videos and twitter feed,” says Ashley Steeple, EFP communication’s manager, Agricultural Research and Extension Council of Alberta (ARECA). “The new site makes it easier to find an EFP technician in your area and get started on completing an EFP.”
The EFP process helps producers identify and address environmental risks and opportunities in their operation by completing an EFP workbook. “Maintaining a healthy environment is essential to the success of Alberta’s agricultural producers and an EFP shows a commitment to stewardship,” adds Steeple.
A web version of the EFP Workbook will be released later this spring.
