Webinar: Being Good Stewards of the Land

The Lesser Slave Watershed Council is hosting a webinar with Land Stewardship Centre on January 27 at 7 PM.

Looking to learn about land stewardship and best practices? This webinar will review the best ways to manage land to protect and maintain water quality, increase resiliency of the land to drought, erosion and flooding, and more. We will talk about the importance of riparian areas as transitional zones, for habitat and biodiversity potential, drought and flood mitigation strategies, and so much more! And we will review how humans impact the landscape and suggest ways we can minimize our effects of humans on the landscape. Tune in and bring your questions!
