Farm Morning

Even before the cock crows, a five-year-old girl wakes up and urges her sleepy father out of his bed to feed the farm animals. All the animals want to be fed first as the small girl, eager to be helpful, mostly just gets in the way. Father looks on with a bemused expression as he narrates the events of morning on the farm with his daughter.
A tender, humorous story for young readers that reveals a special relationship between father and daughter. Readers learn their efforts in caring for animals and other people are significant contributions in everyday life.
