Being a good steward matters to you. Having access to valuable stewardship information and resources plays an important part in helping you become a good steward. At Land Stewardship Centre, we take pride in providing the products, services and resources that help you do this – but we can’t do it alone.
Every Contribution Counts
Land Stewardship Centre is a registered charitable organization. Your donations will help us do what we do best – engage, inform and enable people to become good stewards; allowing us to continue to provide resources like the Green Acreages Guide, helping us grow the Conservation Land Registry database, and making it possible for us to develop new partnerships and programs that promote and support grassroots stewardship initiatives in your communities.
All online transactions are securely processed through CanadaHelps. Here’s how you can contribute:
- Donate once or monthly through a simple, secure online transaction.
- Set up your own fundraising campaign in support of Land Stewardship Centre.
- Take advantage of the added tax benefits of donations of securities or mutual funds.
Become a Sponsor
Over the years, Land Stewardship Centre has become a proactive, credible voice for environmental stewardship and a source of important stewardship tools and resources. At this moment, with so many people asking questions about our environment, natural resources and land-use, it’s important to use this voice more than ever before.
With additional resources, we can enhance the quality and frequency of our connection with land users and land managers. The result, over time, will be people who are engaged, informed and enabled to become better stewards.
Who can be a sponsor? We welcome all companies, organizations and governments who recognize the importance of and have placed a priority on stewardship, sustainable land use and conscientious resource management.
If stewardship matters to you, your future is with Land Stewardship Centre. To become a sponsor, or for more information, please contact us.
Share Your Ideas
We are constantly reviewing periodicals, websites and other information sources to keep the Stewardship Resource Centre current. But we also depend on the eyes, ears and collective experiences of people like you. If you know of any great environmental stewardship stories, information, ideas or resources, please contact us.
Why It Matters
“Land Stewardship Centre’s Green Acreage Guide resources inspired us to create a Green Acreages Program in our county; the first in Alberta. With LSC‘s help, Red Deer County has assisted dozens of acreage owners implement sustainable practices on their land.’’
Ken Lewis, Conservation Coordinator, Red Deer County
