Vote for Us!
Posted October 13, 2016 by LSC
Over the years, the Aviva Community Fund has donated over $6.5 million in project funding to deserving charities across Canada who have an idea to create positive change within their local community.
This year, Land Stewardship Centre is participating in the Aviva Community Fund competition – and we could sure use your support.
About our project
Assistance from the Aviva Community Fund would enable Land Stewardship Centre, the long-time tenant and caretaker of the culturally significant Imrie House, to transform the building’s garage into an amazing meeting space that community groups and other non-profit organizations will be able to access.
Why it matters
Imrie House, surrounded by nature and overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, is a unique and beautiful place and we want the broader community to be able to experience and benefit from this hidden gem. Non-profits, volunteer community groups and individuals alike will be welcome to utilize the new Imrie House meeting space for meetings, workshops, field trips, art classes and more.
We can’t do it without you
We need your help. The application with the most votes will make it to the Aviva Community Fund finalists round. All you need to do is cast your vote between October 11–28. You can vote up to 18 times for a single project.
Your vote matters
Every vote you cast for our project will go a long way in helping us assist community groups in Edmonton and beyond. Click on the image below to view our full application and to vote. Thank you!
