The Red Deer River Watershed Alliance (RDRWA) is partnering with the Land & Water Resources Club – Olds College to bring you:

Living By Water – General Meeting & Speakers Forum

Wednesday, October 13, 2010
Student Alumni Centre, Olds College
Olds, Alberta
9:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Doors open 9:30am

Join them in reviewing the most up-to-date information on the Red Deer River Integrated Watershed Management Plan at the General Meeting, then stay for the Speakers Forum. Lunch will be provided.

Guest speakers include:

Phil French – showing a documentary – Red Deer River Journey
Norine Ambrose, Riparian Area Specialist, Cows & Fish
Graeme Strathdee – Sylvan Lake Watershed Society

Space is also available for displays. Please contact RDRWA if you require a display space.

Upper McLeod River Information Session

Keepers of the Athabasca are pleased to present the Upper McLeod River Information Session, funded by Glasswaters Foundation and Alberta Ecotrust.

This is a planning workshop opportunity for the initial development of a local watershed group on the Upper McLeod River.

* Phase 2 will focus on land use, headwaters, wetlands, and riparian areas
