Jodie Hierlmeier

Jodie is a lawyer with the Environmental Law Section with the Government of Alberta. She was called to the bar in 2003 and has spent most of her legal career practicing environmental law in the not-for-profit sector and government sector. Her legal practice currently focuses on areas of water law and regional planning.

Jodie holds a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta with a specialization in zoology, and a LL.B. from Dalhousie University with a specialization in environmental law. She has been a sessional instructor with the University of Alberta since 2008, where she teaches undergraduate courses on environmental law.
